Borosol Eye Drops 10ml

Borosol Eye Drops 10ml is used for the management of:

• Allergic conjunctivitis
• Eye redness associated with irritation
• Watering and itching of the eyes
• Mild ocular inflammation
• Environmental eye irritation caused by dust, smoke, or pollutants

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the bottle.
2. Tilt your head slightly backward.
3. Gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket.
4. Instil the prescribed number of drops into the eye.
5. Close your eyes gently for 1–2 minutes.
6. Avoid blinking excessively immediately after application.
7. Do not allow the dropper tip to touch the eye or surrounding surfaces.
8. Replace the cap immediately after use.

Borosol Eye Drops 10ml is instilled topically into the eyes.

Borosol Eye Drops 10ml contains the following ingredients:

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate (0.01%): Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that blocks histamine H1 receptors. This action helps reduce allergic symptoms such as itching, redness, watering, and irritation of the eyes.
• Naphazoline (0.056%): Naphazoline is a sympathomimetic vasoconstrictor that stimulates alpha-adrenergic receptors in conjunctival blood vessels. This results in narrowing of dilated vessels and reduction of redness and swelling.
• Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate (0.12%): Zinc sulphate acts as an astringent and mild antiseptic. It helps reduce mucous discharge, soothe inflamed tissues, and support the healing of irritated ocular surfaces.
• Boric Acid (1.25%): Boric acid acts as a mild antiseptic and buffering agent. It helps inhibit microbial growth and maintains the physiological pH of the ocular surface, thereby reducing irritation and supporting ocular comfort.

• Store Borosol Eye Drops 10ml below 25°C.
• Protect from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
