Betapro Plus Capsule 10 is used for the following:

• Prevention of frequent migraine headaches
• Management of severe migraine attacks

• Managing migraines accompanied by dizziness
• Prevention of migraines with vertigo

Follow these instructions while taking Betapro Plus Capsule 10:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, break or chew the capsule.
• Take this medicine regularly as advised by your doctor.
• Continue using this medicine for the full prescribed duration.

Betapro Plus Capsule 10 is taken orally.

Betapro Plus Capsule 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Propranolol (40 mg): This component is a beta-adrenergic receptor blocker that reduces the reactivity of nerve cells in your brain. It increases their activation threshold, making your brain less susceptible to migraine triggers. It also decreases cerebral blood flow by acting on the blood vessels in your brain.
• Flunarizine (5 mg): As a selective calcium-channel blocker, this ingredient improves blood flow and dilates the blood vessels in your brain. It inhibits cortical spreading depression (CSD), which is an electrical wave that spreads across brain regions and causes the pain and inflammation associated with migraines.

• Store Betapro Plus Capsule 10 in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
• Keep at room temperature.
• Store in the original container with the lid tightly closed to protect from moisture.
• Keep all medicines out of sight and reach of children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.
