CompositionBEHIST 8 MG TABLET 10 is used to manage Meniere's disease, an inner ear disorder causing episodes of vertigo, ringing in the ears (tinnitus) and hearing loss. It also helps with vertigo and balance-related dizziness from other inner ear conditions.
It contains betahistine. It works by improving blood flow to the inner ear and reducing the build-up of excess fluid, which lessens the frequency and severity of vertigo attacks and eases the sense of pressure in the ear.
Take the tablet at the dose and frequency your doctor advises, usually with or after food.
Tell your doctor about any history of asthma or stomach ulcers, or other ongoing medicines, before starting, as these may affect your treatment.
