Azitim 200 Mg Dry Syrup 30 Ml is a macrolide antibiotic medicine used to treat various bacterial infections in children. It is prescribed for infections of the respiratory tract (such as bronchitis and pneumonia), ear, nose, throat, skin, soft tissues, and urinary tract.
It contains azithromycin. Reconstitute the dry syrup with boiled and cooled water as directed on the pack before use, and shake well before each dose. Give the exact dose to your child using a measuring spoon or syringe as prescribed by the child's doctor, and ensure the full course is completed.
Supporting your child's recovery involves ensuring adequate rest and encouraging healthy fluid intake. Keeping your child hydrated helps soothe a sore throat and supports overall body recovery during an infection.
Before giving this medicine, inform your doctor if your child has any history of liver or kidney problems, heart rhythm abnormalities, or severe allergies to antibiotics. Contact your child's doctor immediately if your child develops severe watery diarrhoea, skin rash, or difficulty breathing.
