Azit 100 MG Oral Suspension 15 ML

Azit 100mg Oral Suspension is used in the following conditions: 

• Acute bacterial sinusitis: Azit 100mg Oral Suspension treats acute bacterial sinusitis in children, where the sinuses become infected and cause symptoms like facial pain, congestion, and thick nasal discharge.
• Acute otitis media: For children 6 months and older with acute ear infections (otitis media), this suspension helps clear the infection in the middle ear, relieving ear pain and associated symptoms.
• Community-acquired pneumonia: Azit 100mg Oral Suspension also effectively treats community-acquired pneumonia, a lung infection acquired outside healthcare settings. It targets the bacteria responsible for pneumonia, aiding recovery and improving lung function in children.
• Pharyngitis/tonsillitis: This suspension is used to manage pharyngitis (sore throat) and tonsillitis (inflammation of the tonsils) caused by bacterial infections in children aged 2 years and older. It helps relieve throat pain, reduce inflammation, and clear the bacterial infection responsible for these conditions.

• Shake Azit 100mg Oral Suspension bottle well before use.
• Use the provided measuring cup or dropper to measure the correct dose of the suspension.
• Keep the bottle well-capped after use.

Azit 100mg Oral Suspension should be taken orally.

Azit 100mg Oral Suspension contains the following components: 

• Azithromycin (100 mg): It is a macrolide antibiotic that acts by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial proteins, thereby preventing the growth and multiplication of susceptible bacteria. 

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Azit 100mg Oral Suspension away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.
