Axmx 250 MG Tablet 10 may interact with the following medicines:

• Anticoagulants such as warfarin: Concurrent use may increase the risk of bleeding by altering clotting parameters and prolonging bleeding time. Regular monitoring of INR and other coagulation parameters may be required during combined use.
• Xanthine oxidase inhibitors such as allopurinol: Combined use with amoxicillin may increase the likelihood of skin rashes and hypersensitivity reactions, particularly in susceptible individuals.
• Antimetabolite medicines such as methotrexate: Amoxicillin may reduce the elimination of methotrexate from the body, increasing the risk of toxicity, including mouth ulcers, bone marrow suppression, nausea, and kidney-related adverse effects.
• Tetracycline antibiotics such as doxycycline or tetracycline: Concurrent use may interfere with the bactericidal activity of amoxicillin and potentially reduce its antibacterial effectiveness in some infections.

Axmx 250 MG Tablet 10 may interact with diseases/conditions, including:

• Penicillin allergy: Patients with a history of penicillin or beta-lactam allergy may develop serious hypersensitivity reactions, including rash, swelling, itching, breathing difficulty, or anaphylaxis.
• Gastrointestinal disorders: Antibiotic use may worsen diarrhoea or increase the risk of antibiotic-associated colitis due to alteration of normal intestinal flora. Persistent or severe diarrhoea should be evaluated promptly.
• Infectious mononucleosis: Amoxicillin use in patients with infectious mononucleosis may significantly increase the risk of developing widespread skin rashes and hypersensitivity reactions.
• Clostridioides difficile-associated diarrhoea: Persistent, severe, or bloody diarrhoea may indicate antibiotic-associated colitis and requires immediate medical evaluation.

The daily dose of Axmx 250 MG Tablet 10 should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may vary depending on the severity of the infection and individual response to treatment. Do not alter the prescribed dose without consulting your doctor.

An overdose of Axmx 250 MG Tablet 10 may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal discomfort, or crystalluria in severe cases. Seek medical attention if an overdose is suspected.

If you miss a dose of Axmx 250 MG Tablet 10, take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to compensate for a missed one.
