Autic 400 MG Tablet 10 is used in managing the following health conditions:

• Speedy healing of herpes simplex virus infections, including genital herpes
• Accelerating recovery and preventing recurrence of herpes labialis (cold sores)
• Reducing the intensity and duration of herpes zoster (shingles)
• Managing Varicella-zoster virus infections, commonly known as chickenpox

• Consume this medicine orally with a full glass of water. It can be taken with or without food.
• Swallow the tablet whole.
• Do not chew, break, or crush it.
• Drink ample fluids during the course of this medicine to prevent dehydration.
• Complete the entire course as prescribed by your doctor, even if your symptoms improve earlier.

Autic 400 MG Tablet 10 contains aciclovir (400 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Viral DNA synthesis inhibition: Aciclovir acts as a synthetic purine nucleoside analogue which inhibits viral DNA synthesis. This means it stops the virus from creating new copies of itself.
• Ceasing viral replication: Once converted into its active form within virus-infected cells, aciclovir triphosphate competitively inhibits and inactivates the viral DNA polymerase enzyme. This action halts further viral DNA synthesis without affecting normal cellular processes.

• Keep Autic 400 MG Tablet 10 at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat.
• Shield it from dampness; don't store it in places like the bathroom.
• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.
• Confirm the expiration date on the pack and use it before this date.

• Limit sun exposure. Aciclovir, the active ingredient in Autic 400 MG Tablet 10, can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. It's a good idea to wear protective clothing and use sunscreen if you're going outside.
