Advent 600mg Injection contains two active ingredients:

• Amoxicillin (500 mg): This is a semisynthetic penicillin antibiotic that operates by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls. By doing so, it interferes with the bacteria's ability to multiply and spread in your body.
• Clavulanic acid (100 mg): This component is a β-lactamase inhibitor. Its function is to prevent certain bacteria from deactivating amoxicillin, thereby extending its antibacterial spectrum. It does this by binding to β-lactamase enzymes produced by resistant bacteria, preventing them from breaking down amoxicillin.
