Augmed 375 Tablet 6

Augmed 375 Tablet is used to treat a range of bacterial infections in the airways, urinary tract, ears, and skin.

Uses of Augmed 375 Tablet are:

• Respiratory and ENT Infections: Treats pneumonia, sinusitis, and ear infections.
• Urinary and Skin Infections: Treats urinary tract infections and skin infections such as cellulitis.
• Dental and Deep-Tissue Infections: Treats dental abscesses and bone and joint infections.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.
• Take the medicine at evenly spaced intervals to maintain a constant level in your blood.
• Take the tablet in the dosage and frequency prescribed by your doctor.
• Always finish the entire course prescribed by your doctor, even if you feel better.

Augmed 375 Tablet 6 is taken orally.

Augmed 375 Tablet 6 works in the human body in the following ways:

• Amoxicillin (250 mg): It works by inhibiting penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), required for the synthesis of peptidoglycans (the main component of bacterial cell walls). In the absence of a rigid cell wall, the bacterial cells undergo lysis, causing cell death.
• Clavulanic acid (125 mg): This component enhances amoxicillin’s effectiveness by binding to beta-lactamase enzymes produced by certain resistant bacteria that would otherwise neutralise amoxicillin.

• Keep Augmed 375 Tablet 6 in a tightly closed container.
• Store the medicine at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.
• Avoid exposure to light and moisture.
• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.
• Remember to use the medicine before the expiry date printed on the pack.

• Ensure you stay well-hydrated. An ample intake of fluids aids in flushing out bacteria from your system and promotes recovery.
• To prevent the spread of infection, maintain good hygiene practices such as regular handwashing, especially before meals and after using the toilet.
