Atrop Ophthalmic Solution 5ml

Atrop Ophthalmic Solution 5ml are commonly indicated for the following:

• Examination of myopia: A condition where you have difficulty seeing distant objects clearly.
• Examination of Amblyopia: Also known as "lazy eye," it is a condition where one eye has reduced vision, usually due to misalignment or refractive errors.
• Atropine eye drops may be indicated for other purposes like keratitis, corneal ulcer and uveitis.

To apply Atrop Ophthalmic Solution 5ml correctly, follow these steps:

• Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
• Tilt your head back slightly and look up.
• Gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
• Squeeze the prescribed number of drops into the pocket without touching your eye or eyelashes.
• Close your eyes gently for 1-2 minutes to allow the drops to spread evenly.
• Avoid blinking excessively after administering the drops.

Atrop Ophthalmic Solution 5ml are to be used topically, directly on the eyes. They are not meant to be taken orally or internally.

The active ingredient in Atrop Ophthalmic Solution 5ml is atropine. It belongs to a class of drugs known as anticholinergics. Atropine works by widening (dilating) the pupil of the eye.

• Store Atrop Ophthalmic Solution 5ml at a temperature below 25°C.
• Keep the medicine in its original container, tightly closed to protect it from light and moisture.
