Atosync 10 mg Tablet 10 is used to manage high cholesterol.

Uses of Atosync 10 mg Tablet 10 are:

• High Cholesterol: Lowers harmful LDL cholesterol and triglycerides in adults with raised lipid levels.
• Heart Disease Prevention: Reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke in people with multiple cardiovascular risk factors.
• Plaque Build-up Prevention: Helps slow the build-up of fatty deposits in the arteries that can block blood flow.

• Take Atosync 10 Mg Tablet 10 exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• You can take it at any time of day, with or without food. Take it at the same time each day.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew it.

Atosync 10 Mg Tablet 10 contains Atorvastatin 10 mg, a cholesterol-lowering medicine. It works in the following ways:

• It blocks an enzyme in the liver (HMG-CoA reductase) that is responsible for cholesterol synthesis in the body.
• This leads to reduced cholesterol production in the liver.
• It also increases the expression of LDL receptors in the liver, enhancing the clearance of circulating lipids from the blood.

• Store Atosync 10 Mg Tablet 10 below 30°C, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Keep it out of the reach of children.
• Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
• Return any unused or expired medicine to your pharmacist for safe disposal.

• Eat a heart-healthy diet with plenty of vegetables, fruit and whole grains, and limit saturated and fried foods.
• Be active. Aim for about 30 minutes of activity, such as brisk walking, on most days, and keep to a healthy weight.
• Do not smoke, and limit alcohol.
