Arkaneed Tablet 30

Arkaneed Tablet 30 is used in adults to control high blood pressure, and may also be used to help manage migraines, menopausal hot flushes and certain types of fast heart rate.

Uses of Arkaneed Tablet 30 are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure.
• Fast Heart Rate: Helps reduce a rapid heart rate.
• Other Uses: May also be used in migraine prevention and to ease menopausal hot flushes.

Follow these instructions while taking Arkaneed Tablet 30:

• Take this tablet orally with a glass of water.

• Swallow the tablet whole without crushing, chewing, or breaking it.

• You may take it with or without food.

• Take it at the same time each day for consistent effects.

• Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Arkaneed Tablet 30 is taken orally.

Arkaneed Tablet 30 contains Clonidine (100 mcg), which works on the body as follows:

• Binds to Alpha-2 Adrenergic Receptors: Clonidine attaches to specific receptors in your brainstem called alpha-2 adrenergic receptors, which helps control the activity of your nervous system.

• Reduces Sympathetic Outflow: By stimulating these receptors, it decreases the signals from your central nervous system that would otherwise increase blood pressure and heart rate.

• Decreases Peripheral Vascular Resistance: This medicine relaxes and widens your blood vessels, reducing the resistance to blood flow throughout your body.

• Lowers Heart Rate: Clonidine slows down your heart rate, which contributes to an overall reduction in blood pressure.

Follow these instructions while storing Arkaneed Tablet 30:

• Store Arkaneed Tablet 30 at room temperature below 30°C.

• Keep in a tightly closed container, protected from light and moisture.

• Store in the original packaging to protect the medicine.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Reduce salt intake: Lowering your consumption of sodium helps manage hypertension (high blood pressure). Try using herbs and spices instead of salt to flavour your food.

• Regular physical activity: Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise most days of the week. Activities like brisk walking, swimming, or cycling can help lower your blood pressure naturally.
