Arcycline 250mg Capsule 100

Arcycline 250mg Capsule 100 is used for the treatment of:

• Respiratory tract infections caused by susceptible organisms, where alternative antibiotics are not suitable.
• Lower respiratory tract infections caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae and Mycoplasma pneumoniae
• Skin and soft tissue infections caused by Streptococcus pyogenes and Staphylococcus aureus
• Rickettsial infections, including Rocky Mountain spotted fever, typhus, Q fever, and rickettsialpox
• Chlamydial infections such as trachoma, inclusion conjunctivitis, uncomplicated urethral, endocervical, or rectal infections, and lymphogranuloma venereum
• Psittacosis, granuloma inguinale, relapsing fever, bartonellosis, chancroid, tularemia, plague, and cholera
• Brucellosis (in combination with an aminoglycoside)
• Urinary tract infections caused by susceptible organisms such as Escherichia coli and Klebsiella.
• Adjunctive therapy in intestinal amoebiasis.

• Take Arcycline 250mg Capsule 100 exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water while sitting or standing upright.
• Do not lie down immediately after taking the capsule to prevent throat irritation.
• Take it preferably on an empty stomach, at least one hour before or two hours after meals.

Arcycline 250mg Capsule 100 is intended for oral use.

Arcycline 250mg Capsule 100 contains the following active component:

• Tetracycline (250 mg): Tetracycline is a broad-spectrum bacteriostatic antibacterial agent. It acts by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit of bacteria, preventing protein synthesis and inhibiting bacterial growth.

• Store at room temperature in a dry place.
• Protect from light and moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date.

• Avoid dairy products close to dosing time.
• Maintain adequate hydration throughout treatment.
• Limit sun exposure during therapy.
• Complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve.
