How Tetracycline works
Tetracycline works by stopping bacteria from producing the proteins they need to grow and multiply.
It binds to a part of the bacterial ribosome, the structure responsible for building proteins, and blocks this process.
Without the ability to produce new proteins, bacteria cannot grow or reproduce, which allows the body's immune system to clear the infection. This action is effective against a broad range of bacteria responsible for skin, respiratory, and other infections.

Overdose and Missed Dose
An overdose of Tetracycline may cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. If you suspect an overdose, immediately consult your doctor.
If you forget to take a dose of Tetracycline, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
