CompositionArconyx 90 Mg Tablet 10 is used to relieve pain and swelling in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and acute gout attacks. It is a single-ingredient non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) containing etoricoxib, a selective COX-2 inhibitor.
This medicine is also used for short-term relief of pain after dental surgery. Take it with or without food in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, at the lowest dose that controls your symptoms.
Keeping a healthy body weight and doing gentle exercise advised by your doctor can reduce strain on the joints. For gout, drinking enough water and limiting alcohol and red meat may help reduce flare-ups.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney or liver problems or a history of stomach ulcers, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Your blood pressure may be checked during treatment. It is not suitable during pregnancy. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
