Apderm 0.1 % Cream 5 GM is primarily used for managing atopic dermatitis, commonly known as eczema, in adults and children. It belongs to the class of medicines known as topical corticosteroids, used to reduce inflammation and itching on the skin.
In addition to treating eczema, the cream is also used for other corticosteroid-responsive skin conditions such as allergic contact dermatitis, various eczematous dermatoses, and sometimes limited plaque psoriasis. Your doctor might also recommend it for sunburned skin in certain circumstances, though this is less common.
The cream should be applied as directed by your doctor. It's important to inform your doctor about any pre-existing conditions or ongoing medications before starting this medicine. If you notice any side effects while using the cream, notify your doctor promptly. Continue applying the cream for the duration prescribed by your doctor for optimal results.
