Amipred 500 Injection 1 is used for the following:

• Primary or secondary adrenocortical insufficiency

• Severe allergic conditions such as bronchial asthma and contact dermatitis.

• Congenital adrenal hyperplasia

• Non-suppurative thyroiditis

• Rheumatoid arthritis

• Ankylosing spondylitis

• Systemic lupus erythematosus

• Systemic dermatomyositis

• Pemphigus

• Severe erythema multiforme

• Sympathetic ophthalmia

• Uveitis

• Ulcerative colitis

• Crohn's disease

• Aspiration pneumonitis

• Disseminated pulmonary tuberculosis

• Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura

• Secondary thrombocytopenia.

• Palliative management of leukemias and lymphomas

Administer Amipred 500 Injection 1 as follows:

• This medicine should be administered by a doctor, usually into a muscle or vein.

• The injection site should be clean and dry before administration.

Amipred 500 Injection 1 is administered intravenously or via an intramuscular route.
