ADMITINE 5 TABLET 10 is used for the following:

• Management of moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease

• Slowing down the progression of Alzheimer's disease

• Improving cognitive function in Alzheimer's patients

• Enhancement of memory function in dementia

• Prevention of excessive brain cell stimulation

• Reduction of cognitive decline in neurodegenerative disorders

Follow these instructions while taking ADMITINE 5 TABLET 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day for best results.

ADMITINE 5 TABLET 10 is taken orally.

ADMITINE 5 TABLET 10 contains memantine (5 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• NMDA Receptor Antagonist: Memantine blocks special receptors in the brain called NMDA receptors, which are involved in transmitting signals between nerve cells. This helps prevent excessive stimulation that can damage brain cells.

• Glutamate Regulation: It controls the activity of glutamate, an important brain chemical (neurotransmitter) involved in learning and memory. In Alzheimer's disease, too much glutamate can harm brain cells.

• Neuroprotection: By blocking the harmful effects of excessive glutamate, memantine helps protect brain cells from damage and death, which are common in Alzheimer's disease.
