A4 Cream 10 GM

A4 Cream 10 GM is used to:

• Treat inflammatory skin conditions complicated by bacterial and fungal infection
• Manage infected eczema or dermatitis
• Treat fungal skin infections with secondary bacterial involvement
• Relieve itching, redness, and scaling associated with inflamed mixed skin infections
• Control infection and inflammation in superficial skin lesions

Follow these instructions while using A4 Cream 10 GM:

• Apply the cream exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Clean and dry the affected area before application.
• Apply a thin layer over the affected skin area.
• Wash your hands before and after use unless treating the hands.
• Avoid covering treated areas with airtight dressings unless advised.
• Avoid prolonged use on the face, groin, or skin folds unless advised by a doctor, as steroid absorption and side effects may increase in these areas.

A4 Cream 10 GM is applied topically.

A4 Cream 10 GM contains the following components:

• Beclomethasone Dipropionate (0.025%): A topical corticosteroid that reduces skin inflammation, redness, swelling, and itching by suppressing inflammatory reactions in affected skin.
• Gentamicin (0.1%): An aminoglycoside antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, helping eliminate susceptible bacteria present in infected skin lesions.
• Quiniodochlor (1%): An antimicrobial and antifungal agent that helps control fungal and certain bacterial organisms responsible for superficial skin infections.
• Tolnaftate (1%): An antifungal agent that inhibits fungal growth by interfering with fungal cell membrane function and ergosterol synthesis, helping treat dermatophyte infections such as ringworm and athlete’s foot.

• Store A4 Cream 10 GM below 25°C.
• Keep the tube tightly closed.
• Protect from heat and direct sunlight.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use after expiry.

• Wear loose, breathable clothing: Tight or non-breathable clothing can trap moisture and heat, creating conditions that allow fungal infections to persist. Wearing loose cotton clothing helps keep skin dry and comfortable.
• Change clothing and towels regularly: Fungal and bacterial infections may spread through contaminated clothing or towels. Using clean, dry personal items helps prevent reinfection.
• Maintain good personal hygiene: Regular bathing and handwashing reduce the risk of spreading infection to other parts of the body or to other people.
• Support skin recovery with balanced nutrition: Consuming adequate protein, vitamins, and fluids supports immune function and skin repair, helping improve recovery during treatment.
