Vicks Vaporub 50Ml+10Ml Extra

Vicks Vaporub 50ml+10ml Extra is used for providing relief from six common cough and cold symptoms like cough, blocked nose, breathing difficulty, headache, muscular stiffness, and body ache. It is formulated with therapeutic natural ingredients like Camphor, Menthol, Eucalyptus oil (Nilgiri), Terpin oil, Ajowan ke phool, Pudina ka phool, and Jatiphal (Myristica fragrans). It can be applied on the chest or is also ideal for steam inhalation.

• Camphor: Camphor acts as a cough suppressant and topical analgesic. It provides a cooling effect and helps relieve chest congestion and muscular stiffness.
   
• Menthol / Pudina ke Phool: It is known for its soothing and cooling sensation, it helps ease breathing difficulty and provides quick relief from nasal congestion.
   
• Turpentine Oil: Turpentine Oil works as a decongestant and helps in easing respiratory discomfort when inhaled or applied.
   
• Eucalyptus Oil (Nilgiri Tel): It helps clear the airways by loosening mucous and easing breathing, and it also helps provide antimicrobial benefits.
   
• Nutmeg Oil (Jatiphal Tel): Jatiphal Tel is traditionally used for its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, helping with body aches and muscular stiffness.
   
• Other Ingredients: Ajowan ke Phool.

• Helps Relieve Cough: Vicks VapoRub works as a topical cough suppressant. When applied to the throat and chest, its active vapours, especially menthol and camphor soothe irritated nerve endings in the airways. This helps reduce the cough reflex and provides relief from dry or chesty coughs, especially at night when coughing tends to worsen.
   
• Eases Nasal Congestion: The strong mentholated vapours from Vicks help dilate nasal passages, making it easier to breathe through the nose. It helps alleviate a blocked nose by opening airway passage. It can be used topically or added to hot water for steam inhalation to clear the sinuses more effectively.
   
• For Headache: Applying a small amount of Vicks to the temples, forehead, or back of the neck provides a cooling effect that may help ease tension-type headaches. The menthol and eucalyptus oil help relax muscles and improve circulation, which may also relieve mild sinus pressure that often contributes to headaches.

• For topical application, take a small amount of Vicks on your fingertips.
• Gently rub on chest, throat, and back for fast relief from cough, nasal congestion, and breathing difficulty.
• Reapply up to 3–4 times daily as needed.
• For Steam Inhalation (adults and children 6+ only), add 1–2 teaspoons of Vicks VapoRub to a bowl of hot (not boiling) water.
• Cover your head with a towel to form a tent.
• Lean over the bowl and inhale the vapours deeply for 10–15 minutes.
