Salical Strong Ringworm Ointment is used for managing fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch. It typically contains a combination of antifungal agents and soothing ingredients that help eliminate infection-causing fungi, reduce itching, redness, and scaling, and promote healing of the affected skin. Ideal for external use, this ointment forms a protective barrier, providing fast relief from discomfort while reducing the risk of the spread of infection.

• Benzoic Acid (10%): It is known for its antifungal and antibacterial properties. It helps inhibit the growth of dermatophytes (fungi that cause ringworm) and reduces the spread of the infection on the skin.
   
• Boric Acid (5%): It acts as a mild antiseptic and antifungal agent. It helps maintain an acidic skin environment, which is unfavourable for fungal growth. Its buffering action also supports the effectiveness of other active ingredients, especially by enhancing penetration and maintaining a stable pH.
   
• Salicylic Acid (10%): Salicylic Acid, a keratolytic agent, plays a crucial role by softening and exfoliating the outer layer of the skin. At a 10% concentration, it helps to remove scales and dead skin cells that fungi thrive on, thus assisting in better absorption of the other ingredients. By unclogging pores and promoting skin renewal, Salicylic Acid also reduces itching and promotes faster clearance of the fungal infection.
