Purecon GP Care Solution is used for cleaning and maintaining rigid gas permeable contact lenses. It provides effective cleaning, disinfection, and hydration to ensure all-day comfort. The formula removes protein deposits and debris while preserving lens integrity. Its gentle composition, enriched with an antimicrobial agent, safeguards your lenses and promotes eye health. • Sodium Chloride: Sodium chloride, commonly known as salt, is used to maintain the isotonic nature of the solution. This ensures that the solution mimics the natural salt concentration in tears, managing dehydration of the lenses and minimising discomfort. Its role in hydration helps maintain lens flexibility and wearer comfort throughout the day.
   
• Boric Acid: Boric acid serves as a buffering agent that helps regulate the pH of the solution, keeping it close to the natural pH of tears. This minimises eye irritation and promotes compatibility with the sensitive eye surface. It also has mild antimicrobial properties, adding a layer of protection against bacterial growth during lens storage.
   
• EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid): EDTA is a chelating agent that binds to and removes trace metal ions in the solution. These metal ions could otherwise support microbial growth. By eliminating these impurities, EDTA enhances the stability of the solution and the efficacy of preservatives, ensuring a safer and more hygienic lens care experience.
   
• Borax: Borax works synergistically with boric acid to stabilise the pH of the solution. This buffering system ensures that the solution remains gentle on the eyes while maintaining its cleaning and disinfecting properties. It also helps in managing irritation during prolonged lens wear.
   
• Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS): SLS is a surfactant that helps break down lipid and protein deposits on the lenses. These deposits can accumulate over time and compromise lens clarity and comfort. By effectively loosening and removing these impurities, SLS ensures lenses remain clear and comfortable to use.
   
• Polyhexanide: Polyhexanide is an antimicrobial agent that offers protection against a wide range of microorganisms, including bacteria and fungi. At a very low concentration, it is effective in disinfecting lenses without causing irritation to the eyes. Polyhexanide ensures that lenses are safe to wear by minimising the risk of infections caused by contaminated lenses.

• Cleans Rigid Gas Permeable Lenses: Purecon GP Care Solution effectively removes dirt, debris, and protein deposits from rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses. This helps ensure that lenses are free from residue that could obstruct sight.
   
• Disinfects Lenses: The antimicrobial properties of Polyhexanide safeguard the lenses against harmful microorganisms, including bacteria and fungi. This ensures that lenses remain sterile and safe for use, reducing the risk of eye infections.
   
• Hydrates Lenses: The isotonic nature of the solution, achieved through Sodium Chloride, keeps lenses hydrated. This manages dryness and discomfort, especially during extended lens-wearing periods.
   
• Maintains Lens Integrity: The gentle formulation protects the lenses from chemical damage while ensuring thorough cleaning and disinfection. This prolongs the life of the lenses, maintaining their quality and usability.
   
• Enhances Eye Comfort: The buffering system, comprising Boric Acid and Borax, maintains a pH level that closely matches natural tears. This ensures that the solution remains comfortable for daily use without causing irritation or redness.
   
• Removes Lipid Deposits: Sodium Lauryl Sulphate acts as a surfactant, effectively breaking down lipid build-up. This is particularly beneficial for wearers who experience heavy deposit accumulation due to environmental or physiological factors.

• Wash and dry your hands properly.
• Take the lens out from the lens case.
• Hold the lens with three fingers- The thumb, index finger, and middle finger- on your dominant hand.
• Rinse the lens with GP Fresh Hydra Solution hand old it within three fingers to remove the dust particles or other substances adhering to the lens surface, which may cause scratches on the lens during cleaning.
• Put 3-4 drops of GP Care cleaning solution (surfactant) on the lens. Gently massage the lens surface in a circular motion for 15-20 seconds. Massage more on the front 90% (convex side) and less on the back surface (concave side).
• Rinse the lens with GP Fresh Hydra / Pro Saline Max solution thoroughly until the GP Care (surfactant) is washed off completely.

• Do not use it for soft lenses.
• Do not use the solution if you find the packaging has been damaged, leaked or tampered.
• Discard the remaining solution 90 days after opening.
• Do not touch the bottle nozzle to any surface to avoid contamination.
• Close the bottle cap when not in use.
• Store in a cool and dry place at room temperature and upright.
• Keep away from the reach of children.
• Do not reuse the solution. 
• Always use fresh solution for cleaning.
• Do not transfer or shift the solution to another bottle/ container.
• After cleaning with GP Care Solution, never use tap water/Purified water to rinse your RGP Corneal or scleral lenses.
• Rinse your lenses thoroughly with GP Fresh Hydra / Pro Saline Max before putting them into your eye.
• Do not put it directly into your eyes. It will irritate the eyes unless it is removed from lenses by thoroughly rinsing.
