Nanz Surgical Spirit 100 ML

Nanz Surgical Spirit 100 ml is used for disinfecting the skin and cleaning wounds. It is formulated with methyl salicylate, diethyl phthalate, castor oil, and industrial methylated spirit that work together to ensure effective antiseptic action while managing skin dryness. Commonly used for swabbing before injections and minor medical procedures, it quickly evaporates after application, leaving the area clean and germ-free. Castor oil in the formulation helps moisturise and protect the skin from excessive dryness. 

• Methyl Salicylate: A compound with anti-inflammatory and mild analgesic properties, commonly used in topical solutions. In this formulation, it acts as an antiseptic and helps soothe the skin during and after application, making the spirit more comfortable for users, especially when applied to sensitive areas.
   
• Diethyl Phthalate: This is a solvent that helps dissolve the other ingredients and allows for even distribution of the solution across the skin. It also helps stabilise the formulation, enhancing its shelf life and effectiveness without causing irritation.
   
• Castor Oil: Known for its emollient properties, castor oil is added to the solution to manage excessive dryness. Since alcohol-based solutions can dehydrate the skin, castor oil helps moisturise and protect the skin barrier, keeping it soft and less prone to irritation.
