Lysowash Plus Body Wash is used for disinfecting the skin. It is a medicated antiseptic cleanser formulated with 4% Chlorhexidine Gluconate. It is commonly used as a pre-surgical body wash to reduce microbial load on the skin, helping lower the risk of infections. The formulation provides broad-spectrum protection against bacteria, fungi, and viruses while ensuring deep cleansing of dirt, oil, and impurities. Its long-lasting antiseptic action continues to protect the skin even after rinsing. Lysowash Plus is also suitable for maintaining hygiene in individuals prone to skin infections or in high-risk environments.

• Chlorhexidine Gluconate (4%): Chlorhexidine Gluconate (4%) is a powerful antiseptic agent widely used in medical and hygiene products for its broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties. It works by disrupting the cell membranes of microorganisms, effectively eliminating bacteria and inhibiting the growth of fungi and some viruses. Known for its long-lasting action, it continues to provide protection even after application, making it especially useful in pre-surgical cleansing to reduce the risk of infections. General use:
 

• Use externally and undiluted only.
   

Antimicrobial hand washing:
 

• Take 5 ml on the palm of wet hands
• Rub for 30 seconds. 
• Add a little water to form lather. 
• Rinse thoroughly with water and dry. 
   

Surgical hand washing:
 

• Repeat the above wash. 
• Scrub for 2 minutes. 
• Rinse and dry with a sterile towel. 
   

Whole body cleansing/decontamination (e.g., MRSA patients):
 

• Apply undiluted on the wet body. 
• Rub and allow 30 seconds of contact time. 
• Create lather and continue for 4–5 minutes. 
• Rinse well with water. 

• For external use only. 
• Do not ingest.
• Use undiluted only as directed. Do not mix with other chemicals or detergents.
• Avoid contact with eyes, ears, and mucous membranes.
• Contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to chlorhexidine.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Rinse thoroughly with water after the recommended contact time.
• Discontinue use if irritation, redness, burning, or allergic reaction occurs; seek medical advice.
• Not for internal cleansing or use on deep/open wounds unless specifically advised by a healthcare professional.
• Follow recommended contact times; excessive exposure can increase skin irritation.
• Store properly (cool, dry place; tightly closed).
