Hygeia 1% Cream is used for relieving fungal discomfort. Formulated with 1% Terbinafine, it works by managing fungal growth and bringing relief from itching, scaling, and redness. Its rich yet non-greasy formulation absorbs quickly and can be applied to various affected areas like feet, groin, and body folds. With consistent usage, it assists in restoring normal skin texture and comfort within a few weeks.

• Terbinafine (1%): Terbinafine is an antifungal compound that combats growth of dermatophytes such as Trichophyton species. When applied topically, it penetrates skin layers and accumulates in the stratum corneum, where fungi reside. It inhibits an essential enzyme in fungal cell walls, resulting in fungal cell breakdown and restoration of normal skin. Terbinafine's ability to remain active in skin tissue means that even after discontinuation, it continues to exert beneficial effects for days, supporting full recovery of the infection.

• Relieves Athlete’s Foot Discomfort: This cream provides soothing relief from the itching, scaling, and redness associated with the athlete's foot. It works to halt the fungus that causes the symptoms, restoring comfort to affected areas. 
   
• Manages Jock Itch Irritation: It targets fungal overgrowth in the groin and inner thigh regions, calming inflammation and reducing discomfort. The formulation helps resolve burning and itch sensations common in jock itch.
   
• Manages Ringworm Infections: Used on ringworm, it aggressively addresses the fungal infection causing circular rash and itching. It restores the skin's normal texture and appearance over the course of treatment. The cream helps resolve the infection and reduces the chance of spread to other areas.
   
• Addresses Fungal Nail Fold Issues: Although not for direct nail penetration, it provides relief around the nail margins where fungus often starts. It reduces swelling and discomfort surrounding the affected nail base. 
   
• Soothes Intertrigo Inflammation: In skin-fold areas prone to fungal overgrowth, it calms redness and chafing and reduces moisture-related irritation. It restores the skin barrier function in these susceptible zones. 

• Clean and dry the affected area thoroughly before applying.
• Apply a thin layer of cream once or twice daily, or as directed.
• Rub it gently until fully absorbed.
