Godrej Nupur Henna Powder is used for supporting overall hair texture and hair health. It is a natural hair care solution made purely from henna leaves. It helps in fighting dandruff and soothes the scalp by keeping it cool. This powder makes the hair soft, smooth, and shiny with regular use. It may support hair growth, help reduce hair fall and delays the greying process by protecting melanin. Apart from being used on hair, it can also be applied as mehendi for decorative purposes.

• Lawsonia Inermis Leaf Powder (mehendi): Henna is the primary ingredient known for its natural colouring and conditioning properties. It contains tannins and antioxidants that help protect hair from damage. It may nourish the scalp and hair, leaving them strong and glossy. Henna helps support hair follicle health and improve circulation to the scalp. It may assist in damaging the hair shaft or causing allergic reactions in most people. It is entirely plant-based and free from artificial chemicals.

• Manages Healthy Hair Growth: Henna, being rich in nutrients and antioxidants, helps support the hair follicles by nourishing them and boosting circulation to the scalp. The presence of tannins and natural pigments may strengthen the roots and reduce excessive shedding. 
   
• Helps Delay Premature Greying: Henna helps protect the hair’s natural melanin with its antioxidant content. This may delay the signs of ageing in the hair, such as greying. It gently colours the hair in a rich brown shade, providing a natural solution without any harsh chemicals. The plant-based pigment lawsone binds with hair proteins, making the colour last longer.
   
• Reduces Dandruff and Cools the Scalp: With its natural cooling properties, henna may soothe the scalp and reduce itchiness. The tannins help manage oil production and reduce flaking. By calming the scalp, henna may create a healthier base for hair to grow. It also has mild antimicrobial properties that help in maintaining scalp hygiene.
   
• Acts as a Natural Conditioner: Henna makes hair soft, smooth, and manageable without the need for chemical conditioners. It helps seal the cuticle of the hair, locking in moisture. This leads to a natural shine and improved texture. Henna may help reduce split ends and dryness by strengthening the hair shaft.
   
• Can be Used as Mehendi: Apart from hair, henna is traditionally used on the hands and feet for decorative purposes. It helps provide a natural colour that is safe for the skin. The application has a cooling effect and is often used in cultural and festive rituals. It is free from harmful chemicals found in synthetic dyes. The natural pigment gives a long-lasting stain. 

• For hair, soak Nupur Henna in lukewarm water for 2-3 hours (e.g. for every 30 g of henna powder, you will need to add approx. 120 ml water). You may add oil / curd for extra softness. Apply paste evenly from root to tip of the hair. Leave it for 3-4 hours. Rinse thoroughly with water.
• For hands/feet, wash your hands/feet with soap and water and allow them to dry. Mix Nupur Henna with sufficient water to form a smooth paste and allow it to soak for around 1 hour. Use this mixture to draw designs on hands/feet. Allow the mixture to remain on the hands/feet for at least 2-3 hours. Remove/ wipe off the product from your hands/feet or wash with water if not removed easily. You may also use baby oil/coconut oil to easily remove the mixture from your hands. Eucalyptus, clove oil, sugar and/or lemon juice are traditionally known to enhance the henna colour. You may add any of them or any such traditionally known ingredients while mixing or post application of henna.

• Do not use it if the pack is damaged. 
• Best use before 36 months from mfg.
• Always do a patch test before using the product.
• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
• Do not use it on a broken or irritated scalp. Applying henna on damaged skin can worsen inflammation or cause discomfort.
• Keep the paste away from metal utensils while mixing. Use a glass or plastic bowl to avoid chemical reactions with metal.
• Cease use and seek advice from your physician if you experience any side effects.
