Dristan Nasal Drops 10 ML

Dristan Nasal Drops are used for managing mucosal congestion. The medication contains Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride as its active ingredient. It is primarily used to provide quick relief from nasal congestion caused by conditions such as the common cold, sinusitis, allergies, and other respiratory infections. Dristan works by constricting the blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and making it easier to breathe. 

• Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride: It is a powerful topical nasal decongestant commonly found in nasal sprays and drops. It works by constricting the blood vessels in the nasal passages, which helps reduce swelling and congestion, making it easier to breathe. Typically used for short-term relief from nasal congestion due to colds, allergies, or sinus infections.

• Nasal Congestion Relief: Dristan Nasal Drops contain Oxymetazoline, which is primarily used to relieve nasal congestion caused by the common cold, flu, sinusitis, or allergies. It works by constricting blood vessels in the nasal lining, reducing swelling and allowing easier airflow.
   
• Sinus Pressure: By decongesting swollen nasal passages, Oxymetazoline helps relieve sinus pressure and pain, providing comfort during sinus infections or allergic reactions.
   
• Allergic Rhinitis Management: Dristan Nasal Drops are effective in managing symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as a runny or stuffy nose, by calming inflammation and reducing excess nasal secretions.
   
• Pre-Surgical Nasal Management: For some clinical purposes, it is used before nasal procedures to reduce bleeding and improve visibility by shrinking blood vessels in the nose.

• Gently blow and clear the nose.
• Lie down on your back. Tilt the head backwards.
• Instil 2-3 drops per nostril.
• Gently shake your head from side to side to ensure the distribution of the solution.
