Control D Comfort Lancing White Device 1 is used for obtaining blood samples by using lancets. The adjustable cap on the lancing device allows the user to manage the depth of skin penetration and volume of blood needed for sampling. The sliding barrel and trigger button activate the lancet swiftly and steadily. The lancet carrier might securely hold the lancet in place, while the lancet needle cover ensures hygiene before use. A depth indicator is included to guide the user in selecting the appropriate setting. The adjustable cap helps in customisation, and the lancing device cover helps maintain cleanliness when not in use. 

• Sliding Barrel: The sliding barrel moves backwards to lock the mechanism. This action prepares the device for pricking and allows smooth activation once the trigger button is pressed.
   
• Trigger Button: The trigger button activates the lancet. Once pressed, it releases the spring-loaded mechanism that gently pushes the lancet forward to create a puncture for blood sampling.
   
• Lancet Carrier: The lancet carrier securely holds the lancet inside the device. It aligns the lancet in a particular position to ensure a stable pricking motion.
   
• Lancet Needle Cover: The lancet needle cover maintains hygiene before the lancet is inserted into the device. 
   
• Depth Indicator: The depth indicator shows the user the selected level of skin penetration. 
   
• Adjustable Cap: The adjustable cap fits over the lancet and depth indicator, which allows the user to select and manage the depth setting easily. 
   
• Lancing Device Cover: The lancing device cover is placed over the needle end after use to keep the device clean and ready for the next sampling.

• Remove the lancing device cap by rotating it counter-clockwise.
• Insert a new Lancet firmly into the lancet carrier.
• Secure the body of the lancet and twist the cover to remove. 
• Place the lancing device cap back on the device and rotate clockwise to secure.
• The adjustable cap offers 5 levels of skin penetration. To select a setting, use the "Skin Penetration Scale" displayed below to choose the right one for you.
• Hold the lancing device in one hand and use the other hand to pull the handle back until a click is heard, indicating that the lancing device is ready. 
• Release the sliding handle to return it to its original position.
• Position the lancing device cap firmly against the finger and/or desired area to be punctured, then press the button to fire.
• Remove the lancing device cap by repeating step one
• Once the adjustable cap is removed, hold the body of the lancet and firmly stick the lancet needle into the cover. 
• Remove the lancet from the carrier and discard it in an appropriate sharps or biohazard container.

• Always wash and dry your hands thoroughly before use.
• Use a new sterile lancet for every sampling to maintain hygiene.
• Do not reuse or share lancets to avoid contamination.
• Store the device in a clean, dry place at room temperature.
• Ensure the adjustable cap is securely fitted before pricking.
• Dispose of used lancets in a proper sharps container.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not insert or remove lancets while the device is cocked.
• If the device shows signs of damage or malfunction, discontinue use immediately.
