Zyrop 10000 Injection is used to manage anaemia caused by chronic kidney disease and cancer chemotherapy. It is an erythropoiesis-stimulating agent.
It is also used for anaemia linked to zidovudine therapy in people with HIV and to reduce the need for red blood cell transfusions in adults undergoing elective, non-cardiac and non-vascular surgery. It is not a replacement for blood transfusion in emergencies or for anaemia caused by other reversible factors. It is given as an injection in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Eat iron- and folate-rich foods such as green leafy vegetables, dal and beans, and attend the regular blood tests and blood pressure checks your doctor advises.
Before it is given, tell your doctor about any existing conditions and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report headache, marked swelling or persistently high blood pressure to your doctor. Follow the prescribed treatment plan, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not end treatment unless your doctor advises you to do so.
