Zenflox Infusion is an intravenous antibiotic used to treat moderate to severe bacterial infections, including chest infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, and certain sexually transmitted infections.
It contains ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. This medicine is administered directly into a vein as a slow infusion by a healthcare professional in a clinical or hospital setting. Do not self-administer.
Ensure adequate hydration during treatment to protect kidney function and follow all medical advice provided by your care team during your hospital stay.
Before receiving this infusion, tell your healthcare team if you have a history of tendon problems, nerve disorders, kidney disease, or heart rhythm abnormalities. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
