It contains albendazole, an anthelmintic agent that prevents worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), causing them to lose energy and die. The tablet should be chewed thoroughly before swallowing. It can be taken with or without food, though taking it with fatty meals may enhance absorption for certain systemic infections. Take it for the full duration prescribed by your doctor.
