Vaxiflu 4 Injection is used to provide immunity against four different strains of the influenza (flu) virus. It works by stimulating your immune system to produce antibodies, which recognize and attack the virus if you are exposed later. While it primarily prevents infection, it also helps reduce the risk of severe complications or hospitalization if you do catch the flu.
The injection is usually administered once a year, ideally before the start of the flu season. Inform your doctor if you have a history of egg allergies or Guillain-Barré syndrome. Common side effects include mild soreness at the injection site or a low-grade fever, which typically resolve within 24–48 hours.
