Ulpan Gel is used to treat acidity, heartburn, indigestion, and stomach ulcers. It works by neutralizing excess stomach acid and protecting the stomach lining. This helps relieve symptoms like pain, bloating, and gas, providing quick relief and supporting healing in conditions like gastritis and acid reflux.

Ulpan Gel contains three active ingredients that work together to alleviate symptoms of excessive stomach acid:

• Oxetacaine (10 mg): Acting as a potent local anaesthetic, oxetacaine numbs nerve endings that signal pain. Combined with the antacids, this ingredient offers prolonged pain relief to the lining of the stomach and oesophagus.

• Aluminium Hydroxide (0.291 g): This ingredient acts as an antacid by reacting with and neutralising the excess acid present in the stomach. This raises the pH level in the stomach, reducing acidity. Furthermore, aluminium hydroxide forms a protective barrier over inflamed areas in the stomach lining but doesn't affect acid production itself.

• Magnesium Hydroxide (Milk Of Magnesia) (98 mg): Another antacid component, it also neutralises excess stomach acid by reacting with it. Like aluminium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide does not reduce stomach acid production.

• Store Ulpan Gel at room temperature.

• Keep the medicine bottle tightly closed when not in use to prevent air exposure.

• Protect the medicine from freezing and excessive heat.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• If you're experiencing heartburn or acid indigestion, try eating smaller, more frequent meals instead of three large ones. This can help manage stomach acidity.

• Avoid lying down or going to bed soon after eating. This can help prevent gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition where stomach acid flows back into your food pipe causing discomfort.
