Ulpan Gel is used to relieve heartburn, indigestion, and stomach discomfort caused by excess acid.

Uses of Ulpan Gel are:

• Acidity and Heartburn: Neutralises excess stomach acid to provide fast relief from heartburn, burning pain, and acid reflux.
• Gastritis and Peptic Ulcers: Protects the stomach lining from acid damage and supports healing in gastritis, peptic ulcers, and GERD.

Ulpan Gel contains three active ingredients that work together to alleviate symptoms of excessive stomach acid:

• Oxetacaine (10 mg): Acting as a potent local anaesthetic, oxetacaine numbs nerve endings that signal pain. Combined with the antacids, this ingredient offers prolonged pain relief to the lining of the stomach and oesophagus.

• Aluminium Hydroxide (0.291 g): This ingredient acts as an antacid by reacting with and neutralising the excess acid present in the stomach. This raises the pH level in the stomach, reducing acidity. Furthermore, aluminium hydroxide forms a protective barrier over inflamed areas in the stomach lining but doesn't affect acid production itself.

• Magnesium Hydroxide (Milk Of Magnesia) (98 mg): Another antacid component, it also neutralises excess stomach acid by reacting with it. Like aluminium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide does not reduce stomach acid production.

• Store Ulpan Gel at room temperature.

• Keep the medicine bottle tightly closed when not in use to prevent air exposure.

• Protect the medicine from freezing and excessive heat.
