Ulpan Gel is used to treat heartburn, indigestion, acidity, gastritis, peptic ulcers, and GERD. It neutralises excess stomach acid, protects the stomach lining, and provides fast relief from burning pain, bloating, and discomfort after meals or related to acid reflux.
It contains a combination of antacids and a local anaesthetic agent. The antacid component neutralises stomach acid quickly, while the local anaesthetic reduces pain and irritation in the oesophagus and stomach lining, providing both symptomatic and protective relief.
Take the gel as directed by your doctor, usually after meals and at bedtime, or when symptoms occur. Shake well before use. Do not take it at the same time as other medicines, as antacids can affect absorption. Follow the prescribed dose and duration.
A chalky taste and mild constipation or diarrhoea may occur. Tell your doctor if you experience dizziness, confusion, or signs of an allergic reaction, and inform them about any kidney disease or ongoing medications before starting.
