Ugesic Tablet can interact with medications, including:

• Antihypertensive medications: The concomitant use of this tablet may diminish the antihypertensive effect of these medications. If older adults with kidney issues take this tablet and antihypertensive medications, it could harm their kidneys. 
• Anticoagulants such as warfarin: The concomitant use of this tablet and anticoagulants has an increased risk of serious bleeding compared to using either medication alone. 
• NSAIDs such as aspirin: The concomitant use may increase the incidence of gastrointestinal adverse reactions.
• Diuretics such as furosemide and thiazide diuretics. This tablet can reduce the effect of these diuretics. 
• Antiarrhythmics such as digoxin: The concomitant use of this tablet can increase blood concentration and prolong the half-life of digoxin. 
• Immunosuppressants such as cyclosporine: The concomitant use of this tablet and cyclosporine may increase cyclosporine’s nephrotoxicity. 
• Chemotherapeutic and immune-system suppressants such as methotrexate: The concomitant use of this tablet and methotrexate may increase the risk for methotrexate toxicity (e.g., low WBCs, low blood platelets, and kidney dysfunction).
• Corticosteroids such as prednisone: The concomitant use of corticosteroids with this tablet may increase the risk of gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding.

Ugesic Tablet can interact with diseases, including:

• High blood pressure: Some blood pressure medications may not work as well with this tablet. 
• Heart failure and swelling: This tablet should be used with caution in individuals with heart failure and swelling, as this tablet may lead to fluid retention and worsen heart conditions.
• Kidney problems: Individuals with kidney problems should avoid this tablet, as NSAIDs can affect kidney function and may lead to further complications in individuals with pre-existing kidney issues.
• Asthma: This tablet is contraindicated in individuals with asthma, as it may exacerbate respiratory conditions and trigger asthma attacks.
• Aspirin sensitivity: If an individual is sensitive or allergic to aspirin, it is not recommended to use this tablet, as piroxicam shares similarities with aspirin and may cause adverse reactions.
• Blood problems: Individuals with blood clotting disorders or other blood-related issues should avoid this tablet, as NSAIDs can interfere with blood clotting mechanisms.
• Liver problems: This tablet is not recommended for individuals with liver problems, as it may potentially exacerbate liver conditions.
