Tripride-1 Tablet is used to treat uncontrolled type 2 diabetes mellitus. This triple combination contains glimepiride (stimulates insulin release), metformin (reduces liver glucose production), and pioglitazone (improves insulin sensitivity). This powerful synergistic action effectively lowers blood sugar when diet, exercise, or dual therapies are insufficient, helping to prevent long-term diabetic complications.
Tripride-1 Tablet is used in the intensive management of type 2 diabetes mellitus to achieve stable blood sugar control by stimulating insulin release, reducing liver glucose production, and enhancing insulin sensitivity when dual-therapy is insufficient.
Tripride-1 Tablet is taken orally.
Tripride-1 Tablet commonly causes nausea or an upset stomach, weight gain, hypoglycemia, oedema (fluid retention), headache, dizziness, diarrhoea, and stomach upset.
Most of the side effects resolve on discontinuation of the tablet and are temporary and, in the majority of cases, do not require medical attention.

Tripride-1 Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy due to the risk of foetal harm. Inform your doctor while this tablet is prescribed to you during pregnancy.
Breastfeeding women are not recommended to take Tripride-1 Tablet. It can pass into the nursing infant through breast milk. Inform your doctor while this tablet is prescribed to you during breastfeeding.
It is not recommended to consume alcohol while taking Tripride-1 Tablet. Alcohol can lower blood sugar and may increase your risk of lactic acidosis (accumulation of lactic acid in the body).
Tripride-1 Tablet should be cautiously used in patients with liver impairment. This tablet is not recommended for patients with severe liver impairment. If you have a severe liver problem, inform your doctor before this tablet is prescribed to you.
Those with kidney impairment should cautiously take Tripride-1 Tablet. Patients with severe kidney impairment are not recommended to take this tablet. If you have a severe kidney impairment, inform your doctor before this tablet is prescribed to you.
You may experience low blood sugar after taking Tripride-1 Tablet. Avoiding any attentive task is recommended if you experience dizziness or impaired brain function after taking this tablet.
Allergic reactions to Tripride-1 Tablet are rare. But, if you are allergic to glimepiride, metformin, or pioglitazone you should not take it. To avoid allergic reactions, read the label and check the ingredients.
