• Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs): Combining with antidepressants like phenelzine, tranylcypromine or selegiline is strictly forbidden, as this combination causes serious reactions from combined effects on brain chemicals; you must wait at least 14 days after stopping an MAOI.
• Strong CYP2D6 inhibitors (e.g., fluoxetine, paroxetine): These medicines can increase exposure to tetrabenazine's active metabolites and may require a reduction in the tetrabenazine dose.
• QT-prolonging medicines: Medications like haloperidol, moxifloxacin and methadone add to the heart rhythm changes caused by this medicine, increasing the risk of dangerous irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias).
• Dopamine antagonists: Antipsychotic medicines such as chlorpromazine, risperidone and the anti-sickness medicine metoclopramide increase the risk of movement problems, stiffness and a rare serious reaction called neuroleptic malignant syndrome.
• Other VMAT2 inhibitors: Medicines like deutetrabenazine and valbenazine work similarly to tetrabenazine and should not be combined.

Ticravon 25 Tablet 10 interacts with the following diseases:

• Depression: The medicine can cause or worsen depression and increase suicidal thoughts, so it must not be used in people with untreated or poorly controlled depression or those with active suicidal thoughts.
• Heart rhythm disorders: People with long QT syndrome or a history of irregular heartbeats should use this medicine with caution, as it modestly prolongs the QT interval on the electrocardiogram (ECG), potentially triggering dangerous heart rhythms.
• Parkinson's disease: The medicine depletes dopamine (a brain chemical controlling movement) and can worsen slowness, stiffness and tremor in people with conditions affecting movement control.

The daily dose of Ticravon 25 Tablet 10 should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may vary based on individual factors such as the severity of your condition and how you respond to the medicine.
