THROMPACE 25K INJECTION 5 ML contains Heparin (25000 IU), which works on the body as follows:

• Anticoagulant action: Heparin prevents blood from clotting by interfering with the normal clotting process, helping to maintain proper blood flow through your blood vessels.

• Antithrombin III enhancement: Heparin binds to a protein in your blood called antithrombin III, making it work much more effectively at blocking several important clotting factors.

• Thrombin inhibition: By working with antithrombin III, heparin helps inactivate thrombin (a key enzyme in clot formation), preventing the conversion of fibrinogen to fibrin which is necessary for clot development.

• Factor Xa inactivation: Heparin accelerates the neutralisation of factor Xa, an essential component in the blood clotting cascade that leads to clot formation.
