Telmikind AMH Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure in adults. It is a combination medicine containing telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, and hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic.
This medicine is usually prescribed when blood pressure needs more than one medicine for control. Take it with or without food at the same time each day, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue taking it even when you feel well, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms.
Reducing salt in your diet, staying physically active as advised, maintaining a healthy weight, limiting alcohol and quitting smoking support blood pressure control alongside this medicine. Check your blood pressure at home if your doctor advises it.
This medicine is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, liver problems or diabetes, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Your doctor may check your kidney function and blood salts. Report persistent dizziness, severe weakness, muscle cramps or unusual thirst. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
