Semi Brom Tablet 10 is used for the following:

Follow these instructions while taking Semi Brom Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Take the medicine at the same time each day to maintain consistent levels.

• Continue taking this medicine for the full duration prescribed by your doctor.

Semi Brom Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Semi Brom Tablet 10 contains bromocriptine (1.25 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Dopamine Receptor Activation: Bromocriptine binds to and activates dopamine D2 receptors in the pituitary gland, mimicking the natural effects of dopamine in your brain.

• Prolactin Inhibition: By stimulating dopamine receptors, it effectively inhibits the release of prolactin hormone from the pituitary gland, reducing abnormally high prolactin levels in the bloodstream.
