Scabicid Lotion 100ml

Scabicid Lotion is used for supporting skin health. This lotion is an antiseptic lotion made from gamma benzene hexachloride, cetrimide and phenol. This makes it a suitable lotion for skin infections like scabies, dandruff, pediculosis and lice infestation. It has a rose fragrance, and it is miscible with water, which makes it usable for people with tender skin. Scabicid helps reduce dandruff, lice and fungi.

• Gamma Benzene Hexachloride: Gamma Benzene Hexachloride is an organochlorine compound commonly included in topical preparations formulated for managing lice and mite-related concerns. It may interact with the parasites’ nervous systems, which may help in reducing their mobility and presence on the skin. Its targeted action can extend to both adult insects and their eggs, contributing to thorough skin cleansing in infestation-prone areas. 
   
• Cetrimide: Cetrimide is a quaternary ammonium compound known for its surfactant and cleansing properties. It is commonly used in antiseptic preparations to help clean skin surfaces and manage microbial growth. Its emulsifying properties help distribute active ingredients evenly while contributing to general skin hygiene.
   
• Phenol: Phenol is an aromatic organic compound known for its antiseptic and soothing characteristics in topical products. It may minimise discomfort like itching or irritation, often associated with certain skin conditions or infestations. Phenol’s inclusion in skin formulations also contributes to the overall freshness and cleanliness of the application site. 

• Manages Lice Infestation: Scabicid Lotion contains Gamma Benzene Hexachloride, which may help reduce lice infestations by targeting the nervous system of parasites, thereby limiting their activity on the scalp and skin.
   
• Reduces Dandruff and Scalp Discomfort: The presence of Phenol in Scabicid Lotion helps support scalp hygiene by cleansing flaky residues and calming sensations such as itching and irritation, commonly caused by dandruff.
   
• Cleanses Mite-Prone Areas: Gamma Benzene Hexachloride in Scabicid Lotion is designed for reducing mites and may support removal through a direct action on both adult parasites and their eggs.
   
• Antiseptic Properties: Cetrimide in Scabicid Lotion may provide surface cleansing by disrupting microbial presence, promoting a clean skin environment. 
   
• Reduces Itching and Irritation: The combination of Phenol and Cetrimide helps manage itching and irritation caused by dandruff, lice and scabies.

For Scabies:

• Take a hot bath using soap and dry with a clean towel.
• Either the patient themselves or somebody else should paint Scabicid on each and every part of the body from the neck to the toes with the help of a new, flat, about 2 inches broad and soft paint brush or with hands. 
• Special care should be taken to cover inside nails and breasts, armpits, buttocks and groin.
• Let Scabicid be on the body for 5 to 10 minutes in a warm room before putting on your clothing. 
• All infected clothing and linen should be washed. 
• All the infected persons living together in the house should be treated at the same time.
• Take a bath the next day. 
• Usually, one application is sufficient. 
• The possibility of failure is decreased by a second application two days after the first. 
• Never use this product daily.
• Wash your hands thoroughly after each application.

For Pediculosis:

• Coat the head thoroughly with Scabicid, with a clean brush or hand.
• The next day, wash the hair with soap and water.
• After seven days, the head should be inspected carefully to notice any re-infestation.
• If the infestation is very heavy, the above treatment should be given twice in 24 hours.
• If the re-infestation reoccurs, continue the treatment for two more days. 
• Wash your hands thoroughly after each application.

For Dandruff:

• Rub Scabicid on the scalp, wash the head after 5 to 6 hours with soap and water.
• If dandruff persists, repeat the treatment after two days.
• Wash your hands thoroughly after each application.

• For external use only.
• Read the label carefully before use.
• Keep out of the reach of children. 
• Use under medical supervision. 
• Should not come into contact with the eyes and mucus membranes. 
• Store in a cool and dry place. 
• It should be protected from direct light.
