Rolac 0.5 % Eye Drop 5 Ml

Rolac 0.5 % Eye Drop 5 Ml is used to manage pain and inflammation following eye surgery, and also provides relief from itchy eyes caused by seasonal allergies.

Uses of Rolac 0.5 % Eye Drop 5 Ml are:

• Post-Surgery Pain and Inflammation: Manages pain and inflammation after cataract or corneal refractive surgery.
• Seasonal Eye Allergies: Provides relief from itchy eyes due to seasonal allergies.

• Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the medication.

• Remove your contact lenses before use.

• Tilt your head back, look upwards, and gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a pouch.

• Carefully squeeze the bottle to instil one drop (or as prescribed by your doctor) into the pouch, avoiding contact of the dropper tip with any surface.

• Shut your eye for 1-2 minutes and apply gentle pressure on your inner corner to prevent medication outflow.

• If you're using more than one type of eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes between each application.

• Remember not to rinse the dropper and always replace the cap after each use.

Rolac 0.5 % Eye Drop 5 Ml are applied topically.

Rolac 0.5 % Eye Drop 5 Ml contains Ketorolac (0.5%), which works on your eyes in the following ways:

• Prevents Histamine Release: Ketorolac stabilises mast cells in your eyes, preventing them from releasing histamine. Histamine is a chemical that causes itching and other allergy symptoms. Therefore, this action helps relieve itchy eyes caused by allergies.

• Ensure Rolac 0.5 % Eye Drop 5 Ml should be stored at room temperature.

• Maintain the integrity of the medicine by keeping it away from direct light and moisture.

• Always keep the bottle cap tightly closed when not in use.

• Position this medicine out of reach and sight of children.

• Use Rolac 0.5 % Eye Drop 5 Ml before the expiry date mentioned on the packaging.
