Renocrit 4000 Injection 0.4ml

Renocrit 4000 Injection is prescribed for the treatment of anaemia caused by chronic kidney disease in both dialysis and non-dialysis patients. It is also used to manage anaemia in adults receiving chemotherapy for non-myeloid cancers and in patients scheduled for elective surgery to reduce the need for blood transfusions. This injection stimulates red blood cell production, improving oxygen delivery and reducing fatigue.

Renocrit 4000 Injection is administered subcutaneously (under the skin) or intravenously (into a vein).

Renocrit 4000 Injection contains Recombinant Human Erythropoietin Alfa (4000 IU), which acts as follows:

• It mimics the action of erythropoietin, a natural hormone produced by the kidneys. It works by stimulating the bone marrow to produce red blood cells, treating anaemia caused by reduced erythropoietin levels.

• Store at 2°C to 8°C. Do not freeze.
• Protect from light and keep the syringe in its original packaging.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• Maintain a diet rich in iron, folic acid, and vitamin B12 to support red blood cell production.
• Engage in light to moderate exercise to enhance energy levels but avoid overexertion.
