Rabalkem 20 Tablet 15

Rabalkem 20 Tablet 15 is used to manage conditions caused by excess stomach acid.

Uses of Rabalkem 20 Tablet 15 are:

• Acidity and Heartburn: Relieves symptoms of excess stomach acid, including indigestion and sour stomach.
• Gastro-oesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Helps manage acid reflux and promotes healing of irritation in the food pipe.
• Stomach Ulcers: Helps heal and prevent ulcers, including those caused by certain other medicines.

Here's how you should take Rabalkem 20 Tablet 15:

• Swallow Rabalkem 20 Tablet 15 whole with water. Do not chew, crush or split it.
• Take it as your doctor directs, ideally before a meal, and at the same time each day to help you remember.
• If you also take sucralfate, take Rabalkem 20 Tablet 15 at least 30 minutes before it.

Rabalkem 20 Tablet 15 is taken by mouth. Swallow it whole with water.

Rabalkem 20 Tablet 15 contains Rabeprazole 20 mg, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by:

• Switching off the acid pumps in the stomach lining, which lowers stomach acid and lets acid-damaged areas heal.

• Store the tablet below 30°C, in a cool, dry place away from light and moisture.
• Keep it out of the reach and sight of children.
• Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
• Ask your pharmacist about safe disposal of unused or expired medicine.

• Avoid foods and drinks that trigger your symptoms, such as spicy or fatty foods, caffeine and fizzy drinks.
• Eat smaller meals, avoid eating close to bedtime, and stay upright after meals.
• Keep a healthy weight and avoid smoking.
