PREEGA 75 SR TABLET 10 is used for the treatment of the following conditions:

• Management of neuropathic pain conditions, such as painful diabetic neuropathy and post-herpetic neuralgia

• Relief from spinal cord injury pain

• Reducing musculoskeletal discomfort, stiffness, and tenderness in fibromyalgia

• Working as an adjunct therapy for partial-onset seizures in adults along with other anti-epileptic medicines

• This tablet is taken orally, with or without food.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing, chewing or breaking it.

• It's important to take this medicine at the same time each day for maximum benefit.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

PREEGA 75 SR TABLET 10 contains pregabalin (75 mg), which works on the body in the following ways:

• Binds to Alpha-2-Delta Subunits: Pregabalin binds to alpha-2-delta subunits of voltage-gated calcium channels within your central nervous system. These channels play an essential role in nerve signal transmission.

• Reduces Excitatory Neurotransmitter Release: By binding to the alpha-2-delta subunits, pregabalin reduces calcium influx into the nerve endings. This action decreases the release of several excitatory neurotransmitters, including glutamate, noradrenaline, and substance P.
