Polident New Denture Fixative Cream 20gm

Polident New Denture Fixative Cream is used for managing denture performance by providing all-day hold. Its composition might limit the entry of food particles between dentures and gums. This zinc-free formula contains no artificial colours or flavours. It is infused with Cellulose Gum, which absorbs saliva to thicken and reinforce the seal, while Paraffinum Liquidum maintains a moisture-resistant barrier that helps support gum health. 

• Calcium Sodium PVM/MA Copolymer: This copolymer might function as the primary adhesive component in denture fixative formulations. When it comes in contact with moisture, it forms a cohesive matrix that may maintain denture stability throughout daily activities.
   
• Petrolatum: Petrolatum acts as a base component that might provide the smooth texture of the formulation. It helps support consistency and spreadability, allowing the fixative to be applied evenly across denture surfaces.
   
• Cellulose Gum: Cellulose gum is a plant-derived thickening agent. It might absorb moisture and expand slightly, which helps manage the strength and durability of the formulation during wear.

• Clean and dry your dentures.
• Apply the product in short strips as illustrated for upper, lower, or partial dentures, keeping them away from the edges.
• Rinse your mouth before inserting the dentures.
• Press the denture into place, hold firmly, and then bite down to secure the hold.

Removing the Cream

• Swish your mouth with water.
• Slowly remove the denture using a rocking motion.
• Remove any fixative residue from both the denture and your mouth using warm water and a soft brush.
• Apply only once a day for a secure hold.
