Perindosyl 8 Tablet 10 is used to manage high blood pressure in adults and to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events, including heart attacks, in people with stable coronary artery disease.

Uses of Perindosyl 8 Tablet 10 are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure, including essential hypertension.
• Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: Helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and non-fatal heart attacks.

Follow these instructions while taking Perindosyl 8 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

Perindosyl 8 Tablet 10 contains Perindopril (8 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• ACE inhibition: Perindopril blocks an enzyme called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) in your body, which is responsible for producing angiotensin II, a substance that narrows blood vessels.

• Blood vessel relaxation: This medicine prevents the formation of angiotensin II, helping your blood vessels relax and widen, making it easier for blood to flow through them.

• Blood pressure reduction: The relaxation of blood vessels leads to a decrease in blood pressure, reducing strain on your heart and improving overall cardiovascular function.

• Workload reduction: By lowering blood pressure and improving blood flow, perindopril reduces the amount of work your heart needs to do to pump blood throughout your body.
