PERINDOSYL 8 TABLET 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of essential hypertension

• Management of high blood pressure

• Reduction of cardiovascular mortality risk

• Prevention of nonfatal heart attacks

• Management of stable coronary artery disease

• Improving blood flow in heart patients

• Reducing workload on the heart

• Relaxing and widening blood vessels

Follow these instructions while taking PERINDOSYL 8 TABLET 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine even if you feel well.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

• If you have any questions about how to take this medicine, consult your doctor.

PERINDOSYL 8 TABLET 10 is taken orally.

PERINDOSYL 8 TABLET 10 contains Perindopril (8 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• ACE inhibition: Perindopril blocks an enzyme called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) in your body, which is responsible for producing angiotensin II, a substance that narrows blood vessels.

• Blood vessel relaxation: This medicine prevents the formation of angiotensin II, helping your blood vessels relax and widen, making it easier for blood to flow through them.

• Blood pressure reduction: The relaxation of blood vessels leads to a decrease in blood pressure, reducing strain on your heart and improving overall cardiovascular function.

• Workload reduction: By lowering blood pressure and improving blood flow, perindopril reduces the amount of work your heart needs to do to pump blood throughout your body.

• Store PERINDOSYL 8 TABLET 10 at room temperature (below 30°C) in its original packaging.

• Keep the medicine in a dry place, protected from light and moisture.

• Store away from direct sunlight.

• Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

• Do not use PERINDOSYL 8 TABLET 10 after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Reduce salt intake: Limit the amount of salt in your diet, as high sodium can increase blood pressure. Try using herbs and spices for flavouring food instead of salt.

• Regular physical activity: Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise (like brisk walking) most days of the week to help maintain healthy blood pressure levels and improve heart health.
