• Ensure that your OneTouch Ultra 2 or OneTouch Ultra Easy blood sugar testing machine is ready for use. 
• Insert a compatible test strip into the metre according to the device's instructions.
• If necessary, prepare your lancet device for blood sampling. Follow the instructions provided with your lancet device to obtain a small blood sample from your fingertip or another approved testing site.
• Touch the end of the test strip with the blood sample. The strip will automatically draw the blood into the test area.
• The OneTouch Ultra glucometer will analyse the blood sample and display your blood glucose level on the screen. Wait for the results to appear.
• Note down the blood glucose reading if needed for tracking or reporting purposes.
