Noveltreat 1.7mg Prefilled Pen may interact with the following medicines:

• Insulin and sulfonylureas (e.g., insulin glargine, insulin aspart, glimepiride, gliclazide): Concurrent use may increase the risk of hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar). Your doctor may adjust the dose of these medicines.
• Oral medicines requiring rapid absorption (e.g., levothyroxine, oral contraceptives, antibiotics): Semaglutide delays gastric emptying, which may affect the absorption of some orally administered medicines. Clinical monitoring may be required.
•  Changes in diet, weight, or gastric emptying may influence anticWarfarin and other anticoagulants (e.g., acenocoumarol):oagulant therapy. Your doctor may monitor your INR more frequently after starting or changing the dose of Noveltreat 1.7mg Prefilled Pen.
• Other GLP-1 receptor agonists (e.g., liraglutide, dulaglutide, exenatide): Concurrent use is generally not recommended because it may increase the risk of adverse effects without providing additional therapeutic benefit.

Noveltreat 1.7mg Prefilled Pen may interact with the following diseases/conditions:

• Pancreatitis: Patients with a history of pancreatitis should use it cautiously, as GLP-1 receptor agonists have been associated with cases of acute pancreatitis. Seek immediate medical attention if severe, persistent abdominal pain develops.
• Diabetic retinopathy: Rapid improvement in blood glucose control may temporarily worsen diabetic retinopathy. Patients with pre-existing diabetic eye disease should undergo regular eye examinations.
• Severe gastrointestinal disease (e.g., gastroparesis): Semaglutide delays gastric emptying and may worsen symptoms in patients with severe gastrointestinal disorders.
• Gallbladder disease (e.g., gallstones, cholecystitis): Treatment with semaglutide may increase the risk of gallbladder-related disorders. Patients should seek medical attention if they develop persistent upper abdominal pain, fever, or jaundice.

Use Noveltreat 1.7mg Prefilled Pen once weekly in the dose prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor may gradually increase the dose based on your blood glucose control and treatment response.

An overdose of Noveltreat 1.7mg Prefilled Pen may cause severe nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, dehydration, or low blood sugar (particularly when used with insulin or sulfonylureas). Seek immediate medical attention if an overdose is suspected.

If you miss a dose, administer it as soon as possible within 5 days of the missed dose. If more than 5 days have passed, skip the missed dose and administer the next dose on your regularly scheduled day. Do not administer two doses within 48 hours of each other.
