Novastat CV 10 Capsule is used to prevent major heart and brain conditions in patients at high risk for conditions like acute coronary syndrome, heart attack, chest pain, and stroke. It is used to prevent clots and reduce the amount of cholesterol such as low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol ('bad cholesterol') and triglycerides in the blood and to increase the amount of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol ('good cholesterol') in the blood. This capsule belongs to the group of medicines called cardioprotective agents.
This capsule is meant for oral administration and is generally safe and well-tolerated when prescribed by a doctor.
