Norad Injection is used to manage severe low blood pressure in critical care.

Uses of Norad Injection are:

• Septic Shock: Raises blood pressure in septic shock.
• Severe Low Blood Pressure: Manages very low blood pressure from cardiac problems or blood loss.
• Organ Perfusion: Improves blood flow to vital organs.

• Norad 2 MG injection should be administered by a healthcare provider. It is not recommended to be self-administered. 
• The timing of Norad administration in relation to food intake will depend on the specific medical condition being treated.

The dosage of Norad 2 MG injection can be administered intravenously after dilution as prescribed by a doctor.

• Norepinephrine, the active ingredient in Norad 2 MG injection, is a medication with multiple pharmacological activities. It primarily acts as a potent vasoconstrictor, meaning it causes the constriction of blood vessels throughout the body. This vasoconstrictive effect leads to an increase in systemic vascular resistance and blood pressure.
• By constricting blood vessels, Norepinephrine helps to restore and maintain blood pressure in cases of severe hypotension or shock. It works by binding to alpha-adrenergic receptors on the smooth muscle lining the blood vessels, triggering their constriction.
• Norepinephrine raises blood pressure and enhances blood circulation to vital organs, including the brain, heart, and kidneys, thereby preventing organ damage due to inadequate perfusion. Additionally, Norepinephrine stimulates beta-1 adrenergic receptors in the heart and dilates coronary arteries to increase heart rate and cardiac output.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Norad 2 MG injection away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Stay adequately hydrated to maintain blood volume and potentially improve blood pressure. Drink water and other healthy fluids throughout the day, but avoid excessive intake of caffeinated beverages as they may contribute to dehydration.
• Consume smaller meals throughout the day instead of large, heavy meals to prevent a sudden drop in blood pressure after eating. Include balanced meals that contain a combination of complex carbohydrates, lean protein, and healthy fats.
• In some cases of hypotension, increasing salt intake may be beneficial. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, such as hypertension or kidney problems, it is advisable to consult with your doctor.
• Long periods of standing or sitting can contribute to a drop in blood pressure. If possible, try to take regular breaks, move around, or change positions frequently. Flexing your leg muscles or crossing your legs while sitting may help improve blood flow.
• Wear compression stockings. These can help improve blood flow and prevent blood pooling in the lower extremities. 
• Perform physical activity, as recommended by your doctor, to improve cardiovascular fitness and promote better blood pressure regulation.
• Alcohol can lower blood pressure, so it's important to avoid it during the treatment.

• Take Norad 2 MG injection only by a doctor or a nurse practitioner.
• It should be administered into a large vein only.
• The blood pressure and heart rate may need to be monitored continuously during the infusion.
